Success in winning new business has enabled Widney to expand its manufacturing capacity with the installation of another Hurco CNC machining centre (pictured). Further to this the company is also adding its fourth robotic welding installation with plans for a fifth by the end of 2015.
This investment underpins Widney's current market leading expertise in robotic welding of aluminium extrusions.
Roger Cox, Global Sales Manager, said: "Although markets are fairly static at the moment, it's extremely satisfying to know that we have a significant amount of new home and export business starting up in 2015. Continued investment ensures Widney maintains its position as global market leader."
