Widney Race the Sun
On 30 August a team from Widney will be taking part in Race the Sun Lake District 2014 in aid of the children’s charity Action Medical Research.
This is a hugely popular team challenge set in the stunning Lake District. Jason Brookes, Jon Bridgewater, Andy Seeley and Steve Roberts are challenged to cycle 50 miles, climb Helvellyn and canoe Lake Thirlmere starting at sunrise and finishing by sunset – Racing the Sun!
Action Medical Research is dedicated to funding research to help reduce the rate of premature birth and improve treatment for sick babies.
